The Dragon Sorceress

Birthed out of the fire, Medea is the pure-blooded sorceress with the blood of Dragons. Despite the new law and treaty formed between the crown and the Assembly of Mages, finally agreeing on peace, the Dragon Sorcerers have suffered great loss. Medea was the only pure-blooded Pyristephēs of her generation, as their kind always had issues in reproducing.

Upon going through her first rite known as the Flame Consuming, Medea had successfully devoured the burning lava, though suffering greatly, she had been chosen by the Ancients as the fully recognized Dragon Sorceress. The spirits of the Dragons flow through the lava from the Vesuvius volcano, serving as the lifeblood of Gaia, and when their descendants, after years of gruesome training, successfully consume the very lifeblood, the descendant becomes recognized as the Dragon Mage. And after numerous trials during the years, Medea had proven herself to be the worthy member of the Dragon Circle, learning the secret knowledge and officially being named Medea - the Cunning one, gifted with Wisdom. And after gaining such an honor, the Elders have sent Medea to learn the secrets that still remain in the world, to enrich the collective knowledge of the Dragon Sorcerers.

Appearance and personality

Medea, by appearance, has traits that is common among her kind - golden eyes that resemble the reptile's irises and pupils, and her hair is red as blood, the most common shade among the dragons. A fair lady by common standards, though her rather inhuman features inspire fear more than admiration from the general public, as such traits are only known to be possessed by the Dragon Ones.

Medea's age by human standards would be thirty-ish, however, she would be well over fifty, as the lives of the sorcerers who have consumed Gaia's lifeblood is significantly prolonged. While they cannot live forever, even with their magic, they do have limited time and can be slain, just not as easily a mere human could be slain.

While reserved by nature, after being target of verbal harassment by the men and women alike, Medea is a free spirit. While she would not be all too friendly in revealing the secrets of her clan, Medea might even be considered a normal company. She has charisma, she can be humorous, although opiniated and her standards when it comes to emotional aspects of a being is different compared to the people.
